The care takers are really helpful and polite. The site that we reserved lived up to our expectations. Clean area and bathrooms. Just wish we had more time to spend. We will be back!!!
I only gave this one Star because i had too. First of all we went to fish and they never told us the lake fish were full of carcinogens and could not be eaten. The bathrooms are horrendous.The doors are hung to high, there is only one shower in each one bath house as well as only two stalls for women and one for men. Possibly the worst part was the way the seasonal residents watch everything you do. I do not recommend this place at all.
Love Hornsby Hollow! Kim and Andy are such great caretakers and have such a great community of seasonal and full time campers. Love fishing there too. Can't complain about good fish and good people! Major tip: Make sure to get there early on any major holiday weekend because they don't take reservations!
We've visited Hornsby Hollow for years. Great place to camp and fish! Facilities are clean and the staff is very nice.
Absolutely our favorite campground! Kim and Andy are wonderful! For anyone who thinks you can't eat the fish...You are mistaking. That sign is from 30+ years ago! We love the Catfish, Bass and Crappie!! We have stayed here for multiple years and decided to get on the waiting list for seasonal and we finally have a spot this year!! Come on April 1st!!!
